What to Expect
Be realistic about those minimums. They are legal floors and very few people finish there — the national average is closer to 60–70. Budget for that number. Training twice a week rather than once is the single biggest thing you can do to keep the total down, because sporadic training means re-learning the previous lesson at the start of the next one.
Typical timeline here: six to nine months flying twice a week.
