Our partnership with SUNY Schenectady allows students to pursue an Associate’s Degree in Aviation Science while completing professional flight training and flight lessons at our flight school. This creates a cost-effective, local aviation training program where students can progress from no experience to advanced commercial pilot training, setting a strong foundation for a long-term pilot career.
All classes are designed to be taken alongside flight lessons conducted under our FAA-certified Part 141 pilot training program. This structured approach provides students with high-level ground and flight knowledge that is immediately applied during training. The standardized curriculum also allows students to earn their private pilot license, instrument rating, and commercial certificate more efficiently than in traditional Part 61 flight programs.
The course includes comprehensive aviation classes and aviation courses that support every stage of training—Private, Instrument, and Commercial. Students will also take coursework in Aviation Law, Meteorology, and Flight Safety, with the option to attend Intro to Flight Instruction. This integrated academic and flight pathway creates a complete flight academy experience, preparing students for future opportunities, including airline pilot training and beyond.
Our Schenectady location puts students in the center of New York’s Capital Region, offering diverse flight training conditions. Students gain experience at Albany International Airport, practice in the Adirondack and Catskill terrain, and operate on smaller runways with varied traffic—ideal for building strong pilot training skills.
We are partnered with SUNY Schenectady’s Aviation Science Program, providing flight students with comprehensive ground training across essential aviation subjects. This combined academic and hands-on approach ensures our pilots develop exceptional stick-and-rudder skills while building deeper technical knowledge and decision-making abilities that set them apart from the average pilot.
Our fleet of eight Piper PA-28s keeps flight training and pilot training running year-round. We also use a Piper PA-28R-201 for the complex aircraft time required for commercial pilot training, supporting students through advanced stages of their aviation training.

Whether your goal is to earn a private pilot license to fly your own light aircraft or pursue commercial pilot training to eventually sit in the left seat in a Boeing 747, our team’s decades of combined experience ensure you receive the highest level of flight training. This depth of expertise strengthens every stage of your pilot training and sets you up for long-term success in your pilot career.
Your future as a pilot is cleared for takeoff! All students begin with an introductory flight, a one-hour session that lets you experience the flying environment and take the controls for the first time. From there, if you wish to continue, you can begin flight training toward your Private Pilot Certificate as part of our structured pilot training program.
